At Vilonia church of Christ we believe that God's pattern for leadership found in the New Testament.  The early history of the church, found in the book of Acts, indicates that each congregation should select from among themselves a group of men to serve as shepherds or elders of the church.

We reject as unscriptural any other patterns of church leadership not found within the pages of the New Testament.

The qualities of the men who should serve as shepherds are found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.

The men listed below serve as shepherds for the Vilonia church of Christ.
