Starting May 1st, the hours of operation will be 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, year around, except holidays.

Our center is open for preschool from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Monday through Friday, year-round, except for school holidays.

At shadowridge, the half-day Pre-school classes will be conducted from 9:00am to 12:30pm. Our full day program is 6:30am - 6pm. Children may attend two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday), three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), or five days (Monday through Friday) Children may attend four days per week, upon Director's approval.

If your child does not attend school on his/her scheduled day, he/she will not be able to make it up by coming in on an unscheduled day. This is due to our licensing capacity. You may inform us in advance if you are in need of a "drop in" day. If we have space for your child they are welcome to attend.

Please escort your child to his/her classroom each morning. THE CHILDREN ARE NOT TO COME AND GO ALONE. This precautionary measure is to insure the safety of your child. Be sure the teacher receives your child and knows he or she has arrived. It is also helpful to make daily contact with your child's teacher.

State licensing requires you to sign your child in/out daily. A FULL signature is required. NO initials please.

Parents must inform the school as to who will be bringing and picking up their child. NO child will leave the school with any unauthorized person. If someone other than yourself is to pick up your child, please notify the school in writing. Identification will be checked for any person not known to our staff. All updates must be made in writing.

Children will not be released to any person who, in the judgment of the staff on duty, appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Another person listed on the emergency form will be contacted to pick up the child.

Please notify the office of each day your child will be absent from school, whatever the reason.
