On Friday December 12, an extension cord was bought for the City of Benson to light up the Creche. The 100' foot 10 gauge extension cord cost the Benson Ministers Association $139. This is a small price to make sure the Nativity of our Lord was lit for the Christmas season.
Christians need to be involved in the life of the community. This time it was to help the City. At other times it is to help the community know when God is not pleased. There was an attempt to not use the term Christmas in our community but the Christians stood up and respectfully spoke at the city council. They shared testimonies of why it is important for our community to honor God at the birth of Christ.
It all turned out for the good of our community.
