Friendly, happy, down-to-earth people, from approximately 50 nationalities, cultures, races, and a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds give a wide diversity, probably a lot like Heaven. Neither all-white, nor all-black, nor any other single race will be the way Heaven will probably look, as the New Testament book of Revelation says that Heaven will be populated with people from every tribe and tongue. Regardless of race or nationality, the Tabernacle lovingly welcomes all people. Looking for an international taste of Christianity? Then you've gotta visit us! What kind, or type, of church is The Tabernacle anyway? Our emphasis is not on any denomination but on Jesus Christ. We are part of a world-wide constituency of 50 million people, called the Assemblies of God, so you'll find great variety in all that we do. Balance is a guiding principle at The Tabernacle, as we strive to be a strong New Testament Church that endeavors to find strength in diversity and balance, while avoiding excesses and extremes of the 21st Century.
